John “Jack” H. Lane Jr. 89 of Braintree passed away April 27, 2017 at the South Shore Hospital. Husband of the late Helen (Welsh) and Mary (Harte). Loving father of John III of Quincy, Brian and his wife Susan of Stoughton, Susan Dugdale and her husband Bill of Portsmouth NH , Michael of Braintree, and the late Joanne Sullivan and her husband Chris of Keene NH. Brother of the late Valerie Gaudette. Dear grandfather of Kelly, Brian, Laura, Pamela, Matt, Jeff, Krista, Mykel, Patrick, Myles, Catherine, Paige, Perry and their spouses. Great grandfather of Sabrina, Avery, Kyleigh, Sofia, Ellie, Teigen, Will, William and Grace. Born and raised in Watertown he had lived in Braintree for over 50 years. Jack was a Navy veteran serving in both WWII and Korea. He had worked in sales for the Wise Potato Chip Co. for many years.

       A Funeral Mass will be held on Monday May 1 at 11:30 AM in the Church of St. Clare, 1244 Liberty St., Braintree  Highlands. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to visit the McMaster Funeral Home 86 Franklin St. (RT37) Braintree Sunday from 4-7 PM. Interment St. Patrick Cemetery Watertown
