Theodore Cabot “Ted” Daiute most recently of Dedham, passed away on April 24th, at Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital in Newton, at age 70 due to complications of the COVID-19 virus. Ted was born in Boston on November 6th, 1949. Preceded in death by his parents, Andrew A. Daiute and Sally V. Cabot Lodge. He leaves behind his sister Donna M. Daiute of South Carolina and many others as a member of a large tightly woven and loving family. Ted spent his life living between Massachusetts and New York City. Growing up Ted attended school in Braintree, Boston, and Hingham MA. An entrepreneur of diverse interests, during his free time Ted was an avid world traveler and collector of eclectics. He long loved the sun, ocean, vessels, and at one time indeed resided upon a sailing vessel. Ted was passionate about exotic cars, and loved animals even more, recently volunteering his time at a feline rescue. A man of strong Christian faith, Theodore Daiute was an eternal dreamer. He will be greatly missed.
