Tadeusz Zieba of Abington passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by his family on Sept 26, 2021 at the age of 82. Born in Krakow, Poland, beloved son of the late Weronika (Bucko) Zieba and Karol Zieba. Beloved husband of Zofia Zieba to whom he was married to for 54 years and beloved father of Beata (Zieba) Krason and husband Krzysztof Krason. Proud and doting grandfather to Tadeusz (Taddy) and Krystian as well as an affectionate uncle to many nieces and nephews. Dearest brother to Michalina Zarzecki of California; Marian Zieba and wife Mary of Pembroke; late sister Eulalia Filipek of Dedham and late brother Karol (Lolek) Zieba of Hyde Park.
Tadeusz served in the Polish Navy and studied at the AGH University of Mining and Metallurgy before coming to the United States in 1966 where he worked as a machinist. He was blessed to be surrounded by a tight-knit family and dear friends. He had a zest for life and an energetic, charismatic presence. He enjoyed reading, music, travelling, gardening, and spending time down the Cape, and later in his retirement down on the Florida Gulf coast. An avid student of astronomy throughout his life, we like to think he’s quite content up amongst the heavenly stars. He will be sorely missed.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend visiting hours on Friday, October 1st from 4-7PM at McMaster Funeral Home, 86 Franklin Street (Rt. 37) Braintree. A Funeral Mass will take place at Our Lady of Czestochowa Church, 655 Dorchester Ave, Boston, MA on Saturday, October 2nd at 10:00AM. Interment to take place at a later date.
