Born May 10, 1941, to the late Agnes (Flaherty) and Bartley Sullivan, Robert E. Sullivan, of Randolph, passed away unexpectedly at the age of 82. Robert was a man of unwavering faith, deep-rooted integrity, and boundless love. His warm smile and gentle nature touched the lives of all who knew him.
A devoted father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and friend, Robert will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him. He was a guiding light to many, a soundboard to all, and leaves a legacy of following good orderly direction to guide his faith. He was always willing to lend a hand with his handyman skills, that few others possess.
In his spare time, Robert enjoyed time with family, walking, had a love of golf, and even when he stopped running maintained his love for it, inspiring others to go the distance as well.
A proud Irishman, Robert had a deep love for his heritage and cherished his Irish roots. He will be remembered for his love of storytelling, his sense of humor, and his unwavering love for his family.
Robert is now reunited with his beloved brothers Michael and John “Jack”, parents, and friends where he will continue to watch over his family with love. Robert is survived by his children; Eileen and her husband Richard, Robert, Maureen and her husband Brian, Sean and his partner Jen, and Ericka and her husband Dustin, his grandchildren; Kaylee, Courtney, Alexis, Christopher and his wife Sarah, Caitlyn, Nicholas, Autumn, Elysia, and Alana, his great-grandchildren; Emma, “best friend” Christopher, and Amelia. Robert is also survived by his siblings Mary, Bartholomew and Joseph, and many nieces, nephews, and countless other family members. May his soul rest in peace, and may his memory be a blessing to all who knew him. Happy trails until we meet again.
