Robert V. Mahoney 91 of Braintree a retired letter carrier from the Quincy Post Office for thirty years passed away December 11, 2014 at the South Shore Hospital. Husband of the late M. Louise (Campbell). Loving father of Susan Walsh of Braintree. Dear grandfather of Sean Walsh. Robert was a Army Veteran of WWII receiving a Purple Heart while serving with Patton’s third army in Europe. A Funeral Service will be held on Monday December 15 at 10 A.M in the McMaster Funeral Home 86 Franklin St. (Rt. 37) Braintree. Visiting hours omitted. Interment Blue Hill Cemetery
