Richard C. Phinney Jr. 67 of E. Weymouth formerly of Braintree passed away February 11, 2015 at the South Shore Hospital. Son of the late Richard and Virginia (Eddy) Phinney. Loving brother of Claire Swan and her husband Ronald of E. Weymouth and Janice Casavant and her husband Phillip of Bridgewater. Beloved uncle of Ryan, Lauren, Phil and Glen. Dear friend of Jean Woodworth of Boston. Born in Quincy and raised in Braintree he had lived in Weymouth for the past 10 years. He had retired 6 months ago after 27 years as a mail sorter at the EPA building in Boston. Richard loved everyone he came in contact with greeting all with a big smile. A Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday February 17 at 10:30AM in Saint Francis of Assisi Church 856 Washington St. Braintree. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to visit the McMaster Funeral Home 86 Franklin St. (Rt.37) Braintree Monday from 5-8 PM. Interment Braintree Cemetery.
