Philip J. Bottiglieri

Philip J. Bottiglieri passed away peacefully on December 15, 2022 after a long battle with cancer. 

Philip grew up in Braintree MA, became a handyman/carpenter while living in California, and returned to Massachusetts where he lived for many years working for Braintree Public Schools, before moving to Port Charlotte, Florida for semi-retirement. Phil returned to his native Massachusetts in 2016 for cancer treatment. 

Phil enjoyed music, friends and spending quality time with his two grandchildren and family.  He was the son of Sebastian P. Bottiglieri and Lucy Bottiglieri (both deceased) who were long time residents of Braintree. Phil leaves behind his daughter, Kelly Bottiglieri and two grandchildren Lucia and Max, his three brothers, Stephen Bottiglieri of Dartmouth, MA, Paul Bottiglieri of Brookfield, CT, and Richard Bottiglieri of Braintree, MA , as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins.

He will be greatly missed by his family and friends he came to know during his 72 years of life.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend visiting hours at McMaster Funeral Home, 86 Franklin Street (Rt.37), Braintree, on Wednesday December 28th, 2022 from 5-7pm.
