Peter F. Gillespie 93 of Braintree died August 5, 2016. Husband of the late Patricia (Campbell). Father of Frank Gillespie of MD and Tricia Gillespie of Braintree. He is also survived by 4 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Born and raised in Essington PA he had been a resident of Braintree for the past 58 years. Peter was a WWII Navy Veteran and a member of the American Legion Post 86 where he was past Commander and VFW Post 1702 in Braintree. He retired in 1989 after 50 years working as a plumber for the Benjamin Weiner Co in Brookline for 28 years then opening his own company Peter Gillespie Plumbing. A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday August 9 at 11 AM in the McMaster Funeral Home 86 Franklin St. (RT37) Braintree.
