Paul H. Cuddy, retired BPD Sergeant, passed away on November 29, 2025.

Born in Dorchester to the late Anne and Paul Cuddy, he was a long-time resident of Braintree. He is survived by his wife, Anne (Prendergast); his daughters, Melissa Sweeney and her husband Brian of Braintree, and Amanda Cuddy and her partner Nicholas Gerardi of Brockton; and his cherished grandchildren, Brian Jr. and Ciara Sweeney and Lilian Gerardi.

He was predeceased by his sisters, Deborah and Marie (Jessie), and his brother-in-law, Paul. He is also survived by his in-laws, nieces, nephews, and many dear friends.

Paul proudly served in the United States Army and was a Vietnam War veteran. After being honorably discharged, he dedicated 33 years to the Boston Police Department.

Paul was a member of Marshfield Country Club and enjoyed many rounds of golf with friends.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to a visitation on Thursday, December 4, from 9:30–10:30 a.m. at McMaster Funeral Home, 86 Franklin St. (Rt. 37), Braintree. A graveside service will follow at Blue Hills Cemetery, at 11am.
