Patricia L (Giglio) Russo

Russo, Patricia L.(Giglio), 85, passed away peacefully April 9,2018 after a brief illness, surrounded by her daughters and grandchildren. She was born on January 28, 1933 and grew up in East Boston. Prior to getting married, she attended     secretarial school and worked at Salada Tea in Boston for several years. In 1962 she moved to Braintree to raise her children, where she lived until her passing. During her years as a homemaker, she also worked as a real estate broker and owned a liquor store. Her true passion was astrology and she served on the board of the Massachusetts chapter of the National Council for Geocosmic Research. In her later years, she became a huge fan of the Boston Red Sox and rarely missed watching a game. She is the wife of the late John P. Russo , mother of  Donald J. Maggioli, Jr. and his wife, Belinda (Boardman) Maggioli of Hingham , Christine M. (Maggioli) Pacini and her husband Giovanni A. Pacini of Quincy, Janice A. (Maggioli) Timmins of Braintree and Kami J. Russo and her fiancée, Robert Dolbeare of Kingston. She was the proud grandparent to Michael, David, Hayden, Nico, and Eric and great grandson Mason.  She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, grandnephews and grandnieces.      Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to visit the McMaster Funeral Home 86 Franklin St (Rt37) Braintree Thursday April 12 from 5-8 PM. A Funeral Service will be held on Friday in the Funeral Home at 10AM. Interment Blue Hill Cemetery.
