Myrtie (Carpenter) Hamilton 93 of Braintree passed away September 12, 2014 at the Bay Path Nursing Home in Duxbury. Wife of the late Howard Hamilton. Loving mother of Richard Hamilton and his wife Mary of Hanover, Marcia Shannon and her late husband Peter of Duxbury and the late Lawrence Hamilton. Sister of the late William and Leslie Carpenter. Dear grandmother of Lisa, Timothy, Michael, Laura and Sheila. Great grandmother of Haleigh, Madison, Tenley and Tyler. Myrtie had been a life long resident of Braintree and was a member of the Red Hatters and had been a very active member of her Church. A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday September 17 at 10 A.M in the Union Congregational Church 74 Commercial St. Braintree. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to visit the McMaster Funeral Home 86 Franklin St. (Rt. 37) Braintree Tuesday 5-8 PM. Interment Blue Hill Cemetery.
