Mildred “Millie” Rita Varrasso, 86, of Braintree, passed away on November 23, 2025, after a courageous journey with Parkinson’s disease.
Millie was the beloved wife of the late Peter Varrasso Sr. She was the devoted mother of Peter and Valerie Varrasso of Carver, Steven and Lisa Varrasso of Whitman, and Rita and Scott Kelly of Weymouth. Cherished grandmother of Christina and her husband Zack, Laura, Anthony, Nicole, Nicholas, Marina, Peter III, Alyssa, Rachel and her husband Liam, and Stephen, and the proud great-grandmother of Theo and Luca.
Millie was born in Boston, raised in Weymouth, and graduated from the Chandler School of Boston. She worked throughout her life as a legal secretary and office manager. After retiring, she continued to give back to her community by volunteering as a candy striper.
She enjoyed boating, playing cards, casino trips with the girls, and spending time with her family. Millie will be remembered for her warmth, her quick wit, and the deep love she held for those around her.
She will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who knew her.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend visiting hours on Friday, November 28 from 4-7pm at McMaster Funeral Home, 86 Franklin St. (Rt. 37), Braintree. A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, November 29 at 10:00am at the Church of Saint Clare, 1244 Liberty St., Braintree. Interment Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree.
