Michael S. Herman Jr. 32, of Braintree, passed away suddenly July 20 2014. Beloved son of Michael and Patricia (Reynolds) of Braintree. Loving brother of Julie Herman of Braintree and her fiancé James Little. Cherished grandson of Irene and the late Charles Reynolds of Braintree, Mary DiLavio of Englewood FL. and the late Robert Herman. He is also survived by many cousins, aunts and uncles. Born in Quincy, Michael had been a life long resident of Braintree. Michael had worked for Local #6 in Boston as a mechanic for the past 15 years. He was a member of the Town River Yacht Club in Quincy and the Holliston Gun Club. He was a very skillful sailor who raced N-10 sailboats, winning many awards. His passion was boating and fishing. A Funeral Service will be held on Friday July 25 at 10 A.M in the McMaster Funeral Home 86 Franklin St. (Rt. 37) Braintree. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to visit the Funeral Home Thursday 4-8 PM. Interment Braintree Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations in his name may be made to the American Diabetes Assoc. PO Box 11454 Alexandria VA 22312.
