Michael A. Carlino Obituary

Michael Angelo Carlino passed away peacefully on October 22, 2025 at the age of 84, after living a long and beautiful life surrounded by his family and countless friends.

Born and raised in Braintree, MA, Michael (Mike) lived an extremely full life defined by hard work, positivity, and his family. He served on the Braintree Fire Department, retiring as Deputy Chief after 36 years of commitment and service. He was deeply proud of being a firefighter and contributing to the town where he lived his entire life.

His life was full of activity, whether that was constantly traveling the world with his closest friends, riding his Harley through New England, or always working on some sort of home improvement project.

Above all, Mike’s greatest joy was his family. He shared 62 years of love and devotion with his wife, Donna, and took immense pride in their life together. He was the beloved father of Melissa (Carlino) Limoli of Wilmington MA and her husband Anthony, and his son Michael of Canton and his wife Christine. But absolutely nothing made him prouder than being “Papa” to his five grandchildren, Maxwell, Lily, Samuel, Alessio, and Gianni.

Mike is also survived by his sister, Marie George of Braintree. He was predeceased by his two brothers, Paul and Daniel.

Mike’s life was full, rich, and blessed marked by hard work, passion, and an enduring love for his family. He will be remembered with joy, pride, and deep gratitude by all who knew him. His memory will live on through the stories, traditions, and love he shared, leaving an everlasting legacy for all who were fortunate enough to know him.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend visiting hours on Tuesday, October 28 from 4-7pm at McMaster Funeral Home, 86 Franklin St (Rt. 37), Braintree.
