SULLIVAN, Mary Patricia "Patt" Of Braintree, passed away at home on February 11, 2016 after a brief illness. Loving mother of Beth Early Kalp. Devoted grandmother to Chloe and Sloane Kalp of Worcester, MA. Patt is survived by her lifelong best friend and sister Elizabeth "Betty" Sullivan, as well as Ellen Marie Anderson, of Barnstable, MA (formerly of Braintree), brothers John F. Sullivan of Houston, TX and William T. Sullivan of Merrick, NY and Tequesta, FL. Predeceased by brothers Daniel J. Sullivan, II of Mansfield, MA and Charles T. Sullivan of Braintree, MA, and sister Margaret L. Early of Worcester, MA. Also survived by 28 nieces & nephews and many grand-nieces and grand-nephews. Patt grew up and resided in Braintree, MA, the daughter of Daniel Joseph and Ellen Bridget (Descalzo) Sullivan. Patt graduated from Braintree High School. She worked at Shreve, Crump & Low in Boston and Collette Travel in Pawtucket, RI. A funeral service will be held at Saint Clare's Catholic Church, 1244 Liberty St, BRAINTREE, on Saturday, February 20th at 12 noon. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. Visiting hours will be held at St. Clare's from 11am - 12 pm. Interment will be private at Saint Francis Xavier Cemetery in Weymouth, MA on a later date. Patt enjoyed extensive travel, often with her sister Betty, for 50 years, visiting 7 continents, countless countries and sailing aboard the great luxury cruise-liners of the day. Patt pioneered travel to China, Australia, New Zealand and the Canadian Rockies.
