Mary E. (Shawles) Donovan 95 of Abington formerly of Braintree passed away September 12, 2017. Beloved wife of the late George T. Donovan and Earl Thomas. Loving mother of Dennis Donovan and his wife Pamela of Abington and the late Earl Thomas. Dear grandmother of Jillian Donovan of Abington, Deborah Kemmet and Kevin Thomas. Mary was born in Eastford CT daughter of the late Stephen and Frances (Rowe) Shawles. She had been employed as a line worker for many years at Sigma Instruments in Braintree. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to visit the McMaster Funeral Home, 86 Franklin St. (Rte. 37), Braintree, Saturday September 16 from 1-3  PM. Interment private.  In lieu of flowers the family sincerely requests that donations in her name may be made to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation 220 N Main St # 104, Natick, MA 01760.
