Martha F. (Hood) Hand  89 of Braintree passed away September 17, 2016 . Wife of the late Vincent A. Hand. Loving mother of Vincent of Braintree, Christopher and his wife Toni of NH and the late Susan Hand. Sister of Katherine Jakowich of FL. She is also survived by her grandchildren Brooke, Toni Marie and Christopher B., two great grandchildren Skylar and Jayden  and the Tosca family of Brockton. Martha was born and raised in Boston and had been a resident of Braintree for the past 60 years . She had worked as a registered nurse doing private duty retiring in 1995 after 47 years. A Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday September 21 at 10 AM in the Church of St. Clare, 1244 Liberty St., Braintree Highlands. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to visit the McMaster Funeral Home 86 Franklin St. (RT37) Braintree Tuesday from 5 - 8 PM . Interment Blue Hill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions in her name may be made to a charity of ones choice.
