Marie T. (Pursley) Fitton 73, of Brockton passed away January 31, 2015 at home surrounded by her loving family. Wife of the late Ira Fitton. Loving mother of Robert Fitton and his wife Cindy, Kimberly Balthazar all of Brockton, Chris Fitton of Melrose, Mary Joy Fitton and Patti Fitton both of Naples Fl. Sister of Lorraine Patrician of Dedham, and the late Robert Pursley. Dear friend of Judy Cannata of N. Attleboro. Marie is also survived by 7 grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Marie was born in S. Boston and raised in Hyde Park and had been a resident of Brockton for the past 49 years. She retired in 2003 after 15 years as a cook for the City of Brockton school system. A Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday February 4  at 11. A.M. in St. Michaels Church, Avon. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to visit the McMaster Funeral Home 86 Franklin St. (Rt.37) Braintree prior to the Mass from 9-10:30A.M. Interment Knollwood Memorial Park, Canton.
