Marian M. (Wells) Howard 82 of Braintree passed away March 12, 2015 at the John Scott House in Braintree. Wife of the late Arthur J. Howard retired Lt. Boston Fire Dept. to whom she was married to for 55 years. Daughter of the late Vernon and Lulu (Fisher) Wells. Loving mother of Julie Howard and her husband Thomas Talarico, Marie Howard and her husband Al Marino, Kathleen Falco and her husband Peter and Michael Howard. Dear grandmother of Leela Shankar, Michael Howard Jr. and Anthony Falco. Born in Sioux Falls SD she had lived in Braintree for 36 years. Marian had worked as a specialist in communications at the Patriot Ledger in Quincy for many years. She volunteered her time at the South Shore Hospital, the Dianne DeVanna Center in Braintree and the Massachusetts Dept. of Children and Families. She was known for her sense of humor and enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. Her family would like to thank the staff of the John Scott House for their efforts and kindness. Funeral arrangements are private and under the direction of the McMaster Funeral Home 86 Franklin St. (Rt.37) Braintree.
