Malcolm N. McDonald 70 of Braintree passed away October 6, 2014 at home surrounded by his loving family. Beloved husband of Maureen (Hasenfuss) to whom he was married to for 46 years. Loving father of Douglas McDonald and his wife Jennifer Fridy of CA and Leeanne McDonald of Braintree. Dear grandfather of Saffron McDonald Fridy. Brother of Barbara Toomey of Rehoboth and the late Allen McDonald. Born in Boston he had been a lifelong resident of Braintree. Malcolm was an electrical engineer for 48 years working as a superintendent for the Town of Norwood Light Dept. An avid golfer he had also coached and refereed for youth sports. A Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday October 9 at 9:30 A.M in the Church of St. Clare 1244 Liberty St. Braintree Highlands. Interment Blue Hill Cemetery. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to visit the McMaster Funeral 86 Franklin St. (Rt.37) Braintree, on Wednesday from 5-8 P.M. In lieu of flowers, donations in his name may be made to the Autism Research Foundation 72 E. Concord St. R1014 Boston University School of Medicine Boston MA 02118
