Lynette L. (Barry) Haughton, 39, of Weymouth, formerly of Brockton and Middleboro, passed away May 9, 2021.
Lynette was a 2000 graduate of Brockton High School. In 2003 she graduated with her Bachelor's Degree from Syracuse University with a double major, and then with a Master's Degree in 2004 from Suffolk University. Lynette then joined the law firm of Seyfarth Shaw where she worked as an Immigration Specialist for over 15 years.
Throughout her childhood Lynette was involved in Brockton youth softball, once becoming the first girls softball pitcher to have pitched a no hitter. Her overall love of sports was shared with her family, loving to sit with Andrade and her boys watching one of the Boston or Syracuse teams. It was, however, never more abundant than when she was watching her boys play, especially on their youth sports teams.
Some of Lynette's most favorite memories were enjoyed spending time with her family, gardening and traveling.
Always willing to lend a hand, offer a shoulder, share kind words, laugh with you, cry with you, brag about you, it is her smile and hugs that will be missed most of all. With a heart as big as a galaxy, the love she had for her family and friends was never ending.
