Lucy Ann (Henchey) Farulla, 78, of Quincy, formerly of South Boston, passed away peacefully at home on September 26,2015, surrounded by her family. Lucy was the beloved mother of Jeanne Farulla of Whitman, Patricia Farulla of Quincy, and Catherine Frederick and her husband Warren Jr of Braintree. Lucy doted on her six grandchildren, David, Warren III, Phillip, Joseph, and Gregory Frederick, all of Braintree, and Gabrielle Farulla-Bastian of Whitman. Lucy is survived by her sister Grace E. Chandler of Braintree. Lucy was the daughter of the late William J. and Lucy A. Henchey of South Boston, sister of the late Margaret M. LeBlanc, William J., Thomas P., Agnes H. Quinn, and Cecelia T.  Lucy was employed at First National Bank of Boston where she retired in 1996, just in time to enjoy her grandchildren. She graduated from Gate Of Heaven High School in 1954, and immediately attended Boston Clerical School. Lucy graduated with highest honors from Massasoit Community College in 2012, alongside her grandson, Warren, and her sister, Grace. “Nahni’s” life was devoted to the unconditional love of her grandchildren, who adored her as much as she did them. She never missed a school event and relished the opportunity to show her pride of them.  Lucy loved learning, enjoyed building dollhouses and collecting miniatures, made high-level logic problems look easy, and especially loved hosting joyous family gatherings. A Funeral Mass will be held on Friday October 2 at 10 AM at Gate of Heaven Church, 615 East Fourth St. Boston. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to visit the McMaster Funeral Home 86 Franklin St. (Rt.37) Braintree Thursday from 4-8 PM.  In lieu of flowers donations in her name may be made to the Tribute Program St. Jude Childrens Research 501 St. Jude Place Memphis TN 38105-1942
