Lorraine (Lorrie) L. (Kearns) McGrath, 62 of Holbrook passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on February 3, 2021.  Beloved wife of William (Bill) McGrath. Loving daughter of John (Jack) and Margaret (Cahill) Kearns of Weymouth.  Cherished sister of Deborah Power (Robert) of Canton, Karen Lynch (Kevin) of Canton, Julie Maughan (Allan) of Plymouth and John (Jack) Kearns (Betty) of Braintree.  Sister in law of Patricia (McGrath) Brown of Mahwah, NJ and Michael McGrath (Athena) of Dennis.  Beloved Auntie of many nieces and nephews.

Lorrie grew up in Braintree, graduated from Braintree High School and Quincy College with a degree in business.  Lorrie worked for many years as an administrative assistant and for the past several years has been enjoying retirement.

Lorrie’s favorite place was wherever her family was.  She also loved traveling with her husband Bill and talking about all of her fond memories from years past.

She was greatly loved and will be sorely missed by everyone that knew her. 

In accordance with COVID-19 regulations, which require face coverings, social distancing and limited seating capacity a Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, February 9th at 10:30AM at St. Francis of Assisi Church, 856 Washington Street, Braintree. Interment Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree.

In lieu of flowers please make donations in Lorrie’s memory to Dana-Farber Cancer Institute or the American Breast Cancer Society.
