Lorraine (Lakus) Brennan of Braintree, MA passed away after a brief illness on December 22, 2024. She was 76 years old. Daughter of the late Eleanor (Tracey) and Charles Lakus. Lorraine was born on May 28, 1948 in Braintree. She attended Labouré College and UMass Boston, graduating as a Registered Nurse. Lorraine spent her career caring for patients at Carney Hospital in Dorchester and Mass Eye and Ear in Boston.

Lorraine was the proud mother of two daughters, Joanne Brennan of Holbrook and Rosemary Jarvinen of Norwell. She also leaves behind two grandchildren, Eric Jarvinen and his wife Samantha Jarvinen of Orlando, FL and Lauren Jarvinen of Norwell.

Lorraine was known lovingly by her family as the greatest party planner, devoted companion, dog sitter and cook. She was a woman willing to do anything to create a loving environment for her daughters and grandchildren. Lorraine enjoyed days at the beach, traveling to new places, trips to the casinos with her BFF’s, and going to her time share every year in Aruba.

Always known for her warmth and kindness, Lorraine’s memory will forever be cherished by her family and friends.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend visiting hours on Friday, December 27, from 10am-1pm at McMaster Funeral Home, 86 Franklin Street (Rt. 37), Braintree. Burial private.
