Lita M Ristuccia Obituary
Lita Marie Ristuccia, 67, of Harwich, Massachusetts, formerly of Braintree and Canton, passed away peacefully at home on January 16, 2026, with her beloved dog Charlie at her side, after a long battle with kidney disease.
Born on June 20, 1958, Lita was a graduate of Braintree High School and Tufts University, where she went on to attend Tufts University School of Dental Medicine. She practiced dentistry in Quincy.
She is survived by her son Rafael Garber and his fiancée, Michelle Anastas; her daughter Lily Garber; and her son Abraham Garber and his girlfriend, Emma Lynch.
Lita is also survived by her siblings: Lauren McGourty and her husband Paul McGourty; John Ristuccia and fiancé Michelle Messino; Marina Ristuccia McHugh and her husband Paul McHugh; and Janine Hojnoski and her husband Tony Hojnoski, as well as many beloved nieces and nephews.
Lita had a lifelong passion for art, music, travel, and cooking, and an unmistakable love for mid-century modern design. She expressed herself through her impeccable sense of style, her carefully curated jewelry and artwork, and the beautiful spaces she created around her. Her home was a place where family and friends gathered often, especially for her beloved pool parties, which brought her immense joy. More than anything, Lita treasured time spent with her family.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend visiting hours on Friday, January 23rd, from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at McMaster Funeral Home, 86 Franklin Street (Route 37), Braintree, Massachusetts.
