Linda Marie (Mahoney) Donovan, 75 of Braintree, Massachusetts passed away peacefully at her daughter’s home on January 20, 2026.

Linda was born in Quincy, Massachusetts in 1950 and raised in Braintree, the daughter of the late Thomas and Margaret (Maxwell) Mahoney.

Linda graduated from Braintree High School in 1968 and the Shepard-Gill School of Practical Nursing of MGH. She worked at the Glover Hospital for many years and later as a hospice and visiting nurse.

Beloved wife of the late Robert W. Donovan. Linda is survived by her son Michael Donovan of Braintree, and daughter Katie Donovan and her partner, Corey Anderson and grandsons Robbie Anderson and CJ Anderson of Whitman.

Linda is survived by her sisters Margaret Mahoney, Janice and her husband John Cloran, brother John and his wife Barbara Mahoney all of Braintree, MA and sister Patricia and her husband Donald McKeough of Coral Springs, FL. She was also the sister of the late Thomas Mahoney.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend a visitation on Thursday, February 5 from 9-10AM at McMaster Funeral Home, 86 Franklin St. (Rt. 37), Braintree. A funeral Mass will follow at Saint Francis of Assisi Church, 856 Washington St., Braintree at 10:30AM. Burial following the funeral Mass in Mount Calvary Cemetery, Roslindale.
