Katharine E. (Foley) Shellmer 85 of Braintree passed away August 30, 2014 at home surrounded by her loving family. Wife of the late Vincent Shellmer. Loving mother of Anne Marie Lane-Short of Abington, Paula Morgan of Holbrook, Linda Shellmer-Klemme of Braintree and Lorna Lincoln of Hanson. Dear grandmother of 9 grandchildren. Born and raised in Bathurst NB Canada Katharine had worked as a registered nurse at Boston City Hospital for many years retiring in 1991. After retiring she continued working at the Frank Woods and Norwell Knoll nursing homes. A Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday September 4 at 9 A.M in St. Francis of Assisi Church S. Braintree Sq. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to visit the McMaster Funeral 86 Franklin St. (Rt.37) Braintree, on Wednesday from 4-8 PM.
