Obituary

SOUCAR, JOSEPH A. 93, of Braintree, passed away August 6, 2023.

Beloved husband of the late Sarah (Sally) Soucar. Loving father of Steven Soucar and his wife Denise of NY, Philip Soucar of Pembroke, Sarah Burton and her husband John of ME, and Ann Farrell and her husband William of Marshfield. Brother of Emil Soucar of NJ, Vincent Soucar of RI, and the late Margaret Barishian. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren.

Joseph was a veteran of the Korean War.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend visiting hours from 9-10:30am on Saturday, August 19th, 2023 at McMaster Funeral Home, 86 Franklin Street, Braintree, followed by a funeral Mass at 11am at Saint Francis of Assisi Church, 856 Washington Street, Braintree. Interment St. Jospeh Cemetery, West Roxbury.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Joseph’s memory may be made to New England Village Inc., 664 School Street, Pembroke MA 02359.
