Joseph Daniel Moschella Jr. 71, of Braintree passed away peacefully surrounded by family on January 1, 2021.

Beloved companion of Patti O’Connor.

Father to John and his wife Jenn of Braintree, Jeffrey and his wife Erin of Weymouth, James and his wife Laura of Braintree and Joseph and his wife Andrea of East Bridgewater.

Son of the late Joseph Moschella Sr. and Marjorie (Pitts) Moschella.

Brother of Robert Moschella and his wife Joan of Braintree, Thomas Moschella and his wife Mary of Brownfield, ME and Edward Moschella of Braintree. Former husband of Janet (Nelson) Moschella of Braintree. 

Loving Papa to Gavin, Julia, Emma, Rylie, Zachary, Brooke, Chloe, Jake, Ryan and Scarlett. 

Joe also leaves behind many cousins, nieces and nephews and friends. 

Joe was a lifelong resident of Braintree. He was a Naval Reservist during the Vietnam War. He was a plumber by trade and was always willing to offer a helping hand. Joe was an officer at the Sons of Italy in Braintree. He enjoyed bass fishing, reading the newspaper and a good homemade Italian meal.

Due to COVID restrictions, a private burial will take place next week.
