John J. Hussey of Braintree, MA, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family. He was predeceased by his parents, Charlotte and Robert Hussey; his siblings Joan, Dorothy, and Robert; and many cherished friends throughout his vibrant life.
John is survived by his devoted sisters, Maryjane of Buenos Aires and Peggy Delpico of Braintree; his beloved children, John J. Hussey Jr. and his wife Janet, Robert Hussey and his wife Susan, Christina Clark and her husband Charles of Port St. Lucie, FL, and Theresa Hussey and her husband Sean McLaughlin. He was the proud grandfather of Kayla, Madison, Ava, and Austin, and a loving great-grandfather to Alice and Mila. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews who adored his warm, outgoing spirit.
John was known for his ever-present smile, his signature "Howahya!" greeting, and his love for dancing and socializing. He had a lifelong passion for mechanics, always eager to lend a hand or share his expertise. He was a devoted Catholic who actively participated in his parish community. His faith was a cornerstone of his life, guiding his actions and inspiring those around him.
Friends and family are invited to celebrate John's life at McMaster Funeral Home, 86 Franklin Street (Rt. 37), Braintree on Sunday, December 29, from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM. A Funeral Mass will take place at 10:00 am Monday, December 30 at St. Francis of Assisi, 856 Washington Street, Braintree. Interment Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree.
