Obituary

Janet (Robare) Finnigan age 68, died unexpectedly December 1, 2022 at her home in Weymouth. Formerly of Dorchester, Janet was born in Boston, a beloved daughter of the late Wyatt and Barbara (Holmes) Robare and step daughter of the late J. Vincent McDonald. Mother of the late Brian J. Finnigan, she is survived by her daughter in law Susan (Gorman) Finnigan of Braintree and her loving granddaughter Elizabeth. Also survived by two sisters, Linda Young of Bridgewater and Barbara Eaton and her husband Bob of Weymouth, and her former husband Joseph Finnigan of Melbourne, FL and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Janet attended the Boston Business School and was an executive secretary for several companies in Boston.

A funeral Mass will be held in St. Francis of Assisi Church, 850 Washington Street, Braintree on Tuesday, December 6 at 10am. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend visiting hours in the McMaster Funeral Home, 86 Franklin Street (Rt. 37), Braintree on Monday, December 5 from 4-6pm. Private interment at Cedar Grove Cemetery, Dorchester.
