James “Jim” J. Morris, 57, of Braintree passed away unexpectedly on December 24, 2016 at Massachusetts General Hospital, after a long fought and courageous battle with cancer. Beloved husband of Eva (Bardetti). Devoted father of Michael, Jessica, and Daniel Morris. Loving brother of Karlene Bognanni and her husband Charles of Waltham, David Morris and his wife Catherine of Kennebunk, Maine, William Morris and his wife Eleanor of Wakefield, and Richard Morris and his wife Margaret of Arlington. He is also survived by many cousins, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, in-laws and three pets. Cherished son of the late Victoria (Denisi) Morris of Somerville. Jim was raised in Somerville and lived in Braintree for over 16 years. A graduate of Suffolk University and Suffolk Business School, Jim dedicated his life to helping the elderly and injured as an administrator at various rehabilitation and skilled nursing facilities, working up to his last day of life at Bay Pointe Rehabilitation Center in Brockton. He was an active and passionate member of Brockton Rotary Club. Jim did everything for his family, whom he loved and enjoyed more than anything. Per his request funeral services will be private.
