James M. McCormack 90 of Braintree passed away August 31, 2018. Beloved husband of the late Arlene M. (Gerrior). Loving father of Joanne Murphy and her husband William of Duxbury, Marilyn McGrath of Whitman, James McCormack and his wife Shirley of NC, Donald McCormack of Braintree, Karen Agnew and her husband Michael of Kingston and Kevin McCormack and his wife Heather of Pembroke. Dear grandfather of 10 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. Brother of the late Richard and William McCormack.                                                                                                                   Jim was born and raised in Quincy and was a graduate of the Quincy Trade School. He was a WWII Navy Veteran and had worked as a Steam Station inspector for Boston Edison for 38 years retiring in 1987. Jim had been a resident of Braintree for the past 67 years and was a member of the Braintree American Legion                                                                                                                                                                                                                  A Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday September 6 at 10:30AM in St. Francis of Assisi Church 856 Washington St. Braintree. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to visit the McMaster Funeral Home 86 Franklin St (Rt 37) Braintree Wednesday from 5-8 PM. Interment Braintree Cemetery.
