George Edward Frank, Jr., 73, passed away peacefully on Sunday June 10, 2018 in Cape Coral, FL. He was born May 25, 1945 in Boston, MA to George and Mary Frank, Sr., now deceased. A longtime resident of SW Florida, George was raised and educated in Braintree, MA before moving to Whitman to raise his family. George was of the Catholic faith. He served in the United State Marine Corps before starting a long career at Boston Gas Co., and then Peoples Gas Co. in Florida. In his earlier years, George loved coaching Little League baseball and soccer.  He was an avid sports fan and enjoyed playing tennis and softball.

He is survived by two loving children, Eric Frank and his wife Michele of Whitman, MA and Garrett Frank of Hanover, MA; a sister, Carole Somerville of East Quogue, NY; three grandchildren, Emma, Nicholas and Alexandra; as well as two nieces, Sandra Souther and Kerry Gattuso, and a nephew, Dr. Kevin Perruzzi. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to visit the McMaster Funeral Home 86 Franklin St (RT 37) Braintree, Tuesday June 19th from 6-9 PM. Burial will be private.
