Frank T. Willett 77, of Abington, passed away peacefully on October 6, 2024, surrounded by family.
Beloved husband of the late Karen L. (Toddings) Willett for over 45 years. Loving father of Kerrie (Willett) Lewis and her husband James of Abington. Adored brother of George Willett and his wife Linda of Braintree. Brother of the late Lawrence “Larry” Willett. Cherished grandfather of Dylan and Kylie Lewis of Abington. He is also survived by many nephews, nieces and cousins.
Frank was born and raised in Somerville to both the late Frank I. Willett and Carmen “Connie” (Disley) Willett. He enjoyed playing music with his band “The Huns” and went on to serve for the Army National Guard for 4 years. He worked for the Massachusetts Turnpike for 15 years before retiring. Frank loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. They would often take trips to Castle Island, Cape Cod and enjoyed many cruises. Frank could often be spotted with them taking a train ride into Boston or enjoying his favorite breakfast spots.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend memorial visitation on Monday, October 14 from 4-7pm at McMaster Funeral Home, 86 Franklin St. (Rt. 37), Braintree. A graveside service will take place on Tuesday, October 15 at 10am at Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree. Those attending the graveside service are kindly asked to meet at the cemetery office, located at 700 West Street, at 9:45am.
