Frank J. Digaetano 84 of Braintree died September 29 2015. Beloved husband of the late Phyllis (DeLario). Loving father of Cheryl McPhee and her husband William of Whitman and James Digaetano of Brockton. Brother of Louise Perpetua and her husband Americo and Gloria Andersen all of Braintree, Angela Chisholm of Holbrook, Carolyn Parker of ME and the late Marie Cushing. Dear grandfather of Victoria, Angela and Kimberly McPhee all of Whitman. Dear friend of Carole O’Brien. Born in Weymouth he had been a lifelong resident of Braintree. Frank was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War, a Union Steward for UFCW local 328 and a member of the Men’s Lodge of the Braintree Son’s of Italy. He had worked as a meat cutter for the Stop and Shop Co. for over 40 years retiring in 1994. Frank will be remembered for his beautiful tomato gardens. A Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday October 3 at 10 A.M. in the Church of St. Clare 1244 Liberty St. Braintree Highlands. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to visit the McMaster Funeral Home 86 Franklin St. (Rt.37) Braintree Friday from 5-8 PM. Interment Blue Hill Cemetery.
