Frances C. (Lisano) Woolf, 94 of Braintree passed away peacefully on June 20, 2024 surrounded by her loving family.

Raised in Braintree, she was the daughter of the late Francis and Mary Ann (Kilgallon) Lisano. She graduated from Braintree High School in 1947, where she played field hockey and was a member of the cheerleading squad. After high school she worked at Armstrong Cork Company in Braintree. It was there that she met her husband Walter. They were married in 1952. Fran excelled at her full-time job of raising her 8 children, which she always said was her greatest accomplishment. She was a fabulous cook, avid reader and loved her crossword puzzles. Her favorite topics to discuss were politics and sports. She loved to travel when the opportunity arose. She enjoyed time with Walter during his retirement years living on Cape Cod, spending days on the beach or at Joshua's Pond. 

She leaves behind her children and their spouses, William Woolf of Braintree, Michael Woolf and his wife Cheryl of Hull, Mary Pendergast and her husband Joseph of Braintree, Kathleen Anzalone and her late husband Stephen of Weymouth, Joan Lank and her husband Mark of Marco Island, FL, Patricia Graziano and her husband Thomas of Wareham, Teresa Donahue and her husband John of Braintree and Barbara LaFleur and her husband Christopher of Hull, 21 grandchildren, 29 great children, soon to be 31.

She was the sister of the late Carmela Cheverie, Rita DeCoste and Natalie Lisano. She also leaves behind many cherished nieces, nephews and dear friends.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend a visitation from 9-10:30am on Thursday, June 27th at McMaster Funeral Home, 86 Franklin Street (Rt. 37), Braintree. A funeral Mass will follow at 11am at the Church of Saint Clare, 1244 Liberty Street, Braintree. Interment Braintree Cemetery, Plain Street, Braintree.
