Frances Petrone Warwick, 62, of Braintree, formerly of South Boston, passed away on January 28, 2021, after a courageous fight against COVID-19.
Fran was the beloved wife of Paul E. Warwick. Cherished daughter of the late Anthony C. Petrone and Alice M. (Ryan) Petrone of South Boston. Daughter-in-law of the late Ernest and Mary Warwick of South Boston. Much-loved sister of Mary Ellen Lewis and her late husband Deacon Paul of Quincy, Alice McIntyre, Anthony Petrone and his partner Patricia Butler, Paul Petrone and his wife Sharon, and Ann Capeless and her husband Paul all of Braintree. Fran was the life-long best friend to her sister Ann.
Adored sister-in-law of the late Maureen Connolly of South Boston, Brian Warwick of Braintree, Kevin Warwick and his wife Dorothy of Braintree, and Kim Lees of Hull. Fran was a devoted Godmother to John Lewis, Patrick Strumm, Hannah Lees, Matthew Lees, and Emma Lees. She was an amazing and caring aunt to 15 nieces and nephews, 27 great-nieces and great-nephews, and 1 great-great-nephew. Fran also leaves behind many loved cousins.
She worked for the federal government for 37 years and enjoyed her retirement to the fullest. Fran lived for her family, spending quality time playing Scrabble, Bingo, cards, or any other game with her family and friends were the things Fran enjoyed the most.
Fran was the organizer of many memorable trips to Foxwoods. An animal lover and life-long pet owner, led her to become a vet assistant in her retirement. Fran will be missed terribly by her husband, family and friends.
