Frances C (Serra) Salvucci

Frances C. (Serra) Salvucci, 78, passed peacefully on August 28th, 2022, surrounded by her family. She struggled with Dementia for the past 5 years. 

Beloved daughter of the late Fred Serra and Mary (Monteforte) Serra and beloved sister of the late Frederick F. Serra.  She was raised in Braintree where she met her high school sweetheart at Braintree High School.  Beloved wife of Leo J. Salvucci of 58 years, living in Weymouth for the past 37 years.  Devoted, loving mother of Susan Salvucci of Weymouth and Stacy Salvucci (Jernegan) of Hanson.  Dear grandmother of Bradford and Holly Jernegan and Michael and Patrick Salvucci.  Dear sister-in-law of Marie (Salvucci) Deady of Abington.

Fran’s greatest joys were spending time with her family and friends.  She loved the family get togethers, making them all special.  She loved cooking, entertaining and traveling.  Her favorite vacation spots were Italy, Spain, Aruba, Dominican Republic and Ogunquit, Maine.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to visit McMaster Funeral Home, 86 Franklin Street (Rt. 37) Braintree, on Thursday, September 1, 2022, from 4-7 pm.  A funeral Mass will be held at St. Francis of Assisi Church, 856 Washington St., Braintree on Friday, September 2nd at 11:30 am. Interment Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree.
