Eileen F. (Mullin) Vitale 68 of Weymouth formerly of Braintree passed away February 27 2014 at the South Shore Hospital surrounded by her loving family. Beloved wife of Edward Vitale. Loving mother of Deborah Vitale of Weymouth and Julie Vitale of W. Roxbury and her fiancé Jason McEldowney .Daughter of Helen (Dunlea) of Braintree and the late Francis Mullin. Sister of Jean Casey of Braintree and Barbara Mullin of Rockland. Sister in law of the late Kevin Casey. Cherished Aunt of many nieces and nephews.  Born in Cambridge and raised in Dorchester Eileen had lived in Braintree for 17 years before moving to Weymouth 3 years ago. She had worked as a nurses aid for several area nursing homes for 20 years retiring in 2009.

A Funeral Mass will be held on Monday March 3 at 10:30 AM in St Francis of Assisi Church 850 Washington St. S. Braintree Square. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to visit the McMaster Funeral Home 86 Franklin St. (Rt. 37) Braintree Sunday from 4-7 PM. Interment Braintree Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family sincerely requests that donations in her name may be made to a charity of ones choice.
