Edward J. Stratton 85 of Braintree passed away March 29 2014 at the Southwood at Norwell Nursing Home. Born and raised in Braintree he had been a lifelong resident of the town. Ed had worked as a custodian for Sigma Instruments, Kennedy’s Department Store and the Braintree Manor Nursing Home. Uncle of Barbara Mullen and her husband Thomas of Hanson and Robert MacKenzie of Weymouth. He is also survived by his two great nephews Andrew and Michael Mullen. A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday April 1 at 11 AM in the McMaster Funeral Home 86 Franklin St. (Rt.37) Braintree. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to visit the Funeral Home prior to the service from 10-11AM.  Interment Blue Hill Cemetery.
