David T. Wilson of Quincy formerly of Braintree passed away peacefully on November 2, 2021, at the age of 79 surrounded by his loving family. Born in Somerville, MA, David was the dear son of the late Marion and Willard Wilson, brother to Kenneth Wilson and the late Marion L. Maloney. Beloved husband of the late Sylvia A. (Myers) Wilson and proud father to Kimberly (Wilson) Lawrence and husband James H. Lawrence and Sean M. Wilson and his wife Nicole (Salemme) Wilson. David, better known as “Papa”, is survived by his seven adored grandchildren, Theodore, Gabrielle, Nickolaus, Calysta,Zoey, Samuel and Tobias. He is also survived by many cherished nieces and nephews. David graduated from Lansing High School in Michigan and was a proud member of the United States Army serving our nation at home and in Vietnam. He worked for Northrop Corporation up until his retirement. He was an avid Red Sox and New England Patriots fan and never met a Sudoku game he couldn’t finish. David had a way with numbers and statistics, and demonstrated that gift through his passion for sports cards collections. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend visiting hours on Monday November 8, 2021 from 10AM-11AM at McMaster Funeral Home, 86 Franklin Street (Rt. 37), Braintree, followed by a funeral home service at 11AM. Interment to follow at Blue Hills Cemetery Braintree.
