Daniel W. McNeil 60 of Sandwich formerly of Braintree passed away January 17, 2018 surrounded by his loving family. Beloved husband of Laurie L (Fletcher) McNeil to whom he was married to for 34 years. Loving father of Daniel Jr. of Boston and Jillian of Sandwich. Son of the late Alexander McNeil Jr. and Virginia (Woodford) McNeil. Brother of Richard of Hanson, Kevin of Falmouth, James of Rockland, Alexander III of Cohasset and Judith Gaine of Weymouth. Brother in-law of David Fletcher and his wife Amy of Middleboro. Dan was born in Weymouth, raised in Braintree and had lived in Sandwich for the past 22 years. He had worked for Brookfield Properties as a HVAC engineer for the past 15 years. Dan loved his Boston sports teams, golfing, fishing and spending time with his family and friends, and was known for his sense of humor. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday January 22 at 10:30 AM in St. Francis of Assisi Church S. Braintree Square. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to visit the McMaster Funeral Home 86 Franklin St. (Rt37) Braintree Sunday from 1-4 PM. Interment St. Mary’s Cemetery Randolph.
