Corinne Fasano, 87, of Braintree, passed away on November 30, 2022 surrounded by her loving family. Despite her battle with Alzheimer’s the last few years, she always had her sense of humor, elegance, big heart and giving nature.
Born and raised in Quincy, MA, she moved to Braintree to raise her family. She was a long time member of the Braintree Sons of Italy Ladies Lodge, where she served as president, as well as received the 1986 Woman of the Year award. She was also a member of the Braintree Women’s Club and was very active in many charitable organizations. Corinne, along with her husband, were co-founders of Fasano’s Diner and Fasano’s Catering. For many years she was the bookkeeper for Globe Vending. She enjoyed traveling and was dedicated to her family and faith. Most important to Corinne was time spent with friends and family.
Corinne was the daughter of the late Anthony and Marion (Flanders) Cantelli. Beloved wife of the late A. Ralph “Fuzzy” Fasano, whom she was married to for 52 years. Loving mother of Mark of Quincy, Ralph and his wife Gayle, and David and his wife Kristen, all of Braintree. Cherished Gram of Mark, Ralph Jr., Maria, David Jr., Marisa, Anthony and Nicholas. Adoring great-grandmother to Brody, Giulia and Angelina. Dear sister of the late Charles Cantelli and June Rouillard. She is also survived by many loving family and friends.
Funeral from the McMaster Funeral Home 86 Franklin St. (Rt 37), Braintree on Monday, Dec. 5 at 9:15am, followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Francis of Assisi Church 850 Washington St., Braintree at 10am. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend visiting hours in the McMaster Funeral Home on Sunday, Dec. 4 from 3pm to 7pm. Interment Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree.
