Carole D. (Libby) Malley

Carole Doreen (Libby) Malley, after a life well lived and so many cherished memories with family and friends, entered her next adventure on March 8, 2022. Carole lived a life full of adventure during her time on earth and will have so many more looking down on all that she knew and loved. She was truly a class act full of life starting from her birth on January 25, 1937, to her parents Clarence and Lillian (Talmadge) Libby.

Carole was a Social Worker and worked at the Veteran Administration Medical Center in Boston MA.  She was also a member of Toastmaster’s International.  She was always on the move as she could never sit still, she loved golfing, traveling, dancing and just being around people that enjoyed laughing and having a good time.

Wife of the late Edward “Archie” Malley. Carole was the oldest sister and is survived by her brother Mel Libby. Predeceased by her sister Thelma (Libby) Gilbert. Mother to four children; Kimberly (Downey) Tavares and her husband John, Stephanie (Downey) Merrill and her husband Scott, Scott Downey and his wife Ramona, and Todd Downey. She adored her grandchildren Matthew Gifford and his wife Marissa, Alexis Downey, Cheyanne and Nicholas DeMattia, Ryan Downey, and Peyton Merrill. She was blessed with two great grandchildren, Raelyn and Logan Gifford.

Relatives and Friends are respectfully invited to attend visiting hours from 11AM to 1PM on Friday, March 11th at McMaster Funeral Home, 86 Franklin Street (Rt. 37), Braintree, with a Funeral Home service to follow. Interment Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree.
