Barbara L. "Rainey" (Matthews) Morris of Hingham, formerly of Norwell and Braintree passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on May 2, 2021 at the age of 89.

Beloved wife of 70 years of John J. "Red" Morris. Loving mother of Kevin Morris and his wife Linda, John S. Morris and his partner, Laura Fitzgerald and Steven Morris and his wife, Lisa. Beloved grandmother of Patrick and Daniel Morris. Loving sister of Delores MacDonald and Lois DeWitt.

Born and raised in South Boston. Graduate of South Boston High School and Northeastern University. An avid reader and gardener who most of all loved spending time with her husband, sons, extended family and especially her two grandsons.

In accordance with COVID-19 regulations, which require face coverings, social distancing, and limited capacity, relatives and friends are respectfully invited to visit the McMaster Funeral Home, 86 Franklin Street (Rt. 37) Braintree, Friday, May 7th from 10:00-11:30AM. A funeral Mass will follow on Friday, May 7th at 12:00PM at Saint Francis of Assisi Church, 856 Washington Street, Braintree. Interment Braintree Cemetery.
