Anthony J. Parziale  90 of Braintree passed away January 27, 2016 at the South Shore Hospital. Husband of the late Hallie L. (Brinkley). Loving father of Anthony J. Jr. and his wife Jane of W. Palm Beach FL and Dean M. of Braintree . Dear grandfather of Eric, Dana and Allyson.  Born in Boston he had enlisted at the age of 16 against the wishes of his parents and joined the U.S.M.C. in the 2nd Marine Division of the Amphibian Tractor Battalion spending 33 months overseas participating  in action at Tarawa, Saipan, Tinian and Okinawa. He had lived in Braintree for the past 51 years where he was a member of the D.A.V. and Chapter 29 Braintree American Legion Post 86.  Tony had worked as a hairstylist at a beauty salon in Quincy Square that he had  owned  for 30 years and also as a Real Estate Broker. He had directed and coached South Braintree Little League,  Braintree Youth Hockey and coached Braintree Women’s Softball. In his spare time he enjoyed Scuba diving, skiing, golfing and being a hockey referee.

A Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday January 30 at 10 AM in St. Francis of Assisi Church 850 Washington St. Braintree. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to visit the McMaster Funeral Home 86 Franklin St. (Rt.37) Braintree Friday, from 5-8 PM. Interment Braintree Cemetery.
