Ann (Ternullo) Martin of Braintree and Orleans, MA passed away peacefully at home April 9th surrounded by her loving family at the age of 96.
Ann was born June 3, 1928, and raised in the West End of Boston. She married the late Leo E. Martin Sr. on October 30, 1949. They settled in Braintree in 1960. Together they raised four children.
Ann loved going for long walks and spending time with family at her Cape Code home. She was known for her Italian cooking and was proud of her Italian Heritage.
After raising her family Ann worked for her sister, Rose, of Mrs. Woolf’s Preschool and loved working with the children. She enjoyed every moment of her work.
She is survived by her devoted children. Her son Leo E. Martin Jr. and his wife, Patricia of Norwell and Scituate; daughter, Suzanne Buiel of Duxbury; son Michael Martin of Braintree; and the late Linda Martin Dyer and her husband Peter of Norwell. Also known as “Nunny” to her loving grandchildren, Ellen, Michael, and Laura Martin; Joe Buiel and his wife Kim; Stephanie McGarry and her husband Steve; and Christian Dyer. Her great grandchildren J.D. and James Buiel; Brody and Weston McGarry; and Leo Daniel Martin.
Ann was predeceased by her beloved grandson Daniel Leo Martin and son-in-law Larry Buiel.
She will be deeply missed and fondly remembered and will forever be in our hearts.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend a visitation from 9:30-11:30am on Wednesday, April 16 at McMaster Funeral Home, 86 Franklin St. (Rt. 37), Braintree. Funeral service to follow in the funeral home beginning at 11:30am. Interment to follow at the Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne at 2pm.
