William T. Bolter

William T. Bolter, 82, of Braintree passed away May 20, 2018. Beloved husband of Blanche J. (Bennett). Loving father of William Bolter and his wife Joyce of Weymouth, Stephen Bolter of Quincy, and Sandra Burns and her husband Allan of Whitman. Brother of Jean Dostie of Quincy, Robert Bolter of NV and the late Margaret McAlister. Dear grandfather of Amy, Patty, Stephanie, Anastasia, Allan and Caitlyn. He is also survived by 5 great grandchildren. He was born in Boston and had been a resident of Braintree for the past 31 years. Bill had worked as a clerk at Quincy district court and as a service representative for Doctors Hospital in Worcester. He was a third degree Knight with the Braintree K of C. Bill was also an avid fisherman and sportsman and a member of the Mass Striped Bass Association.

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, May 23rd at 11AM in the McMaster Funeral Home 86 Franklin Street (RT 37) Braintree. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend visiting hours prior to the service from 9-11AM. Internment Braintree Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made in Bill’s name to the Dana Farber Cancer Institute, P.O. Box 849168, Boston MA 02284.
