John F Morrissey

John F. Morrissey 91 of Braintree passed away November 8, 2018 at the Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital in Milton. Beloved husband of Florence L. (Petrauskas) to whom he was married to for 67 years. Loving father of Janet Morrissey of Braintree, James Morrissey and his wife Jean of Lunenburg, and the late Paul Morrissey and his wife Kathy of North Oaks MN. Dear grandfather of Paul Jr., Jim, Kate, Christopher, Stephen and Connor.  Great grandfather of Jaxson and Isabella. Brother of the late Thomas Morrissey and Margaret White. John was born in Boston and was a WWII Navy veteran. He had worked as a scheduling manager for 42 years for Boston Edison retiring in 1989.

A Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday November 13 at 10:30AM in St. Francis of Assisi Church 856 Washington St. Braintree. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to visit the McMaster Funeral Home 86 Franklin St (Rt 37) Braintree Monday from 5-8 PM. Interment Blue Hill Cemetery.
